Dr. Pushpa Mala S has completed her Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering for her work on security for medical images from Jain University, Bangalore. She has completed her Masters(M.Tech) in VLSI Design and Embedded and Systems. Her research interests include Image Processing, Signal Processing and Very Large Scale Integrated Circuits designing and modelling. Her projects have been funded by Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology. She has presented 3 papers in national conferences, 10 papers in international conferences, and published 15 papers in various indexed international journals. She has also authored a book “Medical Image Watermarking- with details from Concepts to Application”.
Presently, she is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University. She is the branch counsellor for the IEEE student branch at DSU.
