Shriya Gupta

Shriya Gupta is a Software Engineer at Microsoft R&D, India and she did her B.E. in Computer
Science from BITS Pilani Goa Campus. Her primary research interests lie at the intersection of
artificial intelligence and deep learning, with applications in computer vision and natural language
processing. During her undergraduate studies, she has first-authored several international
publications related to traditional machine learning as well as in the field of biologically inspired neural
networks. She also did her bachelor thesis in the Augmented Vision group at the German Research
Center for Artificial Intelligence in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Under the guidance of Prof. Didier
Stricker, she worked on the topic of 3D pedestrian pose estimation using deep learning for
autonomous driving applications.
