Kumudhini Ravindra - Chair Elect

Dr. Kumudhini Ravindra is a business transformation leader with over two and a half decades of multidisciplinary and multi domain experience. She is the Chief Strategy Officer and Co-founder of Inytu Inc, Principal Partner – Strategic Innovation & Research at Innomantra Consulting and Chief Mentor at Blue Lotus Inc. She is a clean technologies, innovation, design and systems thinking expert. A recognized thought leader, Dr. Kumudhini is an expert in outcome-based education. She has successfully worked with many institutions and universities in higher education, designing and delivering courses/ workshops for Engineering and Management Programs. She is a visiting faculty at many illustrious colleges in Bangalore and a qualified Coach. In her career, she held senior management positions in firms like Tata Infotech, Daimler Chrysler India, Power Research & Development Consultants, Innomantra Consulting along with mentoring start-ups. She has worked on several clean tech projects across the globe. Dr. Kumudhini completed her PhD in Clean Energy Modelling and Management from IISc, Bangalore in 2011. Her work on designing and implementing community microgrids was pioneering research on Microgrids in India. Dr. Kumudhini holds an MBA from the Department of Management Studies, IISc and a BE (Electrical & Electronics) from UVCE, Bangalore University. She was a research scholar at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in 2010 and obtained her Postgraduate Diploma in Innovation and Design Thinking from Emeritus Institute, Singapore in 2019. Dr. Kumudhini has been an active member of IEEE for over 15 years and has held many voluntary positions in Power & Energy Society and Women in Engineering and is presently the Chair of WIE executive committee and Chair Elect of the Education Society. She is the Chair of the Energy working group of the IET India Future Technology Panel. She has published and presented several research papers and keynotes in academia and industry.
